Roice Fulton / executive director

Roice is an infectious disease epidemiologist and entrepreneur. He holds over a decade of experience in the life science, public health, and education sectors—with past endeavors ranging from data analytics and public-private innovation at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, to tech implementation research in HIV contexts in Africa, to the advancement of vaccine demand, higher education, and emergency preparedness initiatives in the US.

At Denominator, Roice steers new tech innovations toward the global health and development community—building the evidence base to support a new partnership-centric framework for data-driven, sustainable development.

Meredith Baker

Meredith is an information and communications technology for development (ICT4D) specialist with more than seven years of experience in the global digital health sector. She has worked with organizations including Viamo and John Snow Inc. to support numerous technology initiatives, and has consulted on a variety of tech-related new business including supply chain and logistics.

Previously, Meredith co-founded and served as the Director of Programs & Partnerships for VaxTrac, a tech NGO supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation focused on building appropriate technology solutions to improve global immunization delivery.


Lisa Leenhouts-Martin 

Lisa believes in the power of disruptive technologies and unorthodox partnerships to deliver smarter solutions to the world’s most vulnerable. As an entrepreneur, she works to challenge the status quo and re-imagine the future of international development.

Lisa designed and managed the Global Fund’s US$ 2 billion global partnership platform to optimize investments in Tuberculosis. At Gavi, she played a key role in establishing a groundbreaking US$ 1 billion partnership with the Global Fund, WHO, and the World Bank to harmonize health systems. She has also served with the UN World Food Programme and U.S. Department of State.


Joachim Monkelbaan

Joachim is a global sustainability advisor, having worked with organizations such as UN Environment, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), WHO, Climate-KIC, and the European Commission (DG Trade). He supports Denominator in the areas of climate change, circular economy, and the 2030 Agenda more broadly, building partnerships and identifying strategic opportunities within the context of global change.

Joachim conducts research at the Institute for Environmental Sciences at the University of Geneva, where he earned his PhD in sustainability governance. He aims to contextualize policy coherence through a systems view –taking global, local, multi-phase and multi-sectoral aspects of transitions into account. His book on governance for the SDGs for Springer’s Sustainable Development Goals series will be available in 2018.


Grace Torrellas

Grace is a senior consultant with international experience in the high-tech industry, including travel and IT as a Business Transformation Leader. She is actively engaged in the blockchain community as mentor and as a co-founder of Giveth, a non-profit/community initiative. Grace works with startups focusing on innovation/differentiation and value creation.
